About Porters

Porters Wine Bar is set in the heart of Hastings’ famous Old Town, just a few minutes walk from the historic fishing quarter. Established in 1986, Porters has been recently refurbished and is a popular family-run wine bar and bistro.

Porters is renowned for its live music and features award-winning Jazz singer Liane Carroll on a regular basis; and for its excellent home-cooked food (using locally sourced ingredients wherever and whenever possible).

Porters are renowned for their interesting, quality wine list featuring wines from around the world. We have a selection of Champagnes and sparkling wines and sell French sparkling wine by the glass.

Our bottled beers are complemented by draft lagers and a guest beer, currently Honeydew Organic ale and non-drinkers are catered for with a comprehensive range of soft drinks, teas and coffees.
